About the production:

Women have lost everything to the war: husbands, children, home. Now they face the grim reality of slavery and exile. What will their fate be like? Will they ever return to their homeland? The production incorporates documentary elements and is based, in part, on the true story of war-torn women of Abkhazia, accompanied by photos of Abkhazia in the aftermath of the war of 1992-93. Despite the gloominess of their destroyed city, despite their dreams being crushed, the women we see on stage maintain their love of life and, most importantly, their hope of retrieving and rebuilding their homeland.
