She was born on August 2, 1946, in Zestafoni. She graduated from Vano Sarajishvili Tbilisi State Conservatory in 1970 (Piano). Between 1980 and 1983 she was a teacher at Tbilisi II Music School (piano). Between 1997 and 2005 she was a consultant at the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University Cultural Center for Music; and, between 2005 and 2007, Member of the Board of Trustees of Public Broadcasting. She has written more than 350 pop songs.
