Kira Mebuke

1952-2019

In 1968 she studied at Pantomime Studio, Tbilisi. In 1974 she graduated from the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University, drama faculty, actress of theatre and film.

Since 1970 she has worked as a leading actor at the Pantomime Theatre, Tbilisi, and the lead director since 1982. Since 1983 she has been teaching pantomime and plastics at the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University. She has performed more than 20 roles and has staged four plays and 15 novels at the Georgian Pantomime State Theatre. She contributed greatly to the development of Georgian pantomime.

At the Sokhumi State Drama Theatre she played a leading role in plastic arts and choreography.
