Medea Kuchukhidze

She was born on July 10, 1937, in Tbilisi. In 1961 she graduated from the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University, Faculty of Theatre, directing.
From 1961-63 she was the director of the Sokhumi State Drama Theatre. Teacher at Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University, 1963-71 and after 1999. Director of the Kote Marjanishvili State Drama Theatre (1964-2008). She has staged productions at Shota Rustaveli National Theatre; Griboyedov Tbilisi Youth Theatre; Sokhumi State Drama Theatre.
